ANSWERING YOUR QUESTIONS

WHAT IS GroOops

Summary Thoughts

I tried to teach my child with books
He only gave me puzzled looks
I tried to teach my child with words
They passed him by often unheard
Despairingly I turned aside
"How shall I teach this child?" I cried
Into my hand, he put the key
"Come, he said, play with me."

GroOops groups are made up of approximately 8 participants with up to 4 multi-disciplinary facilitators. The programme we offer places great emphasis on a safe therapeutic space and also, innovatively, on the use of Expressive Arts. We incorporate poetry, dance, music, drama, art etc. as we believe this allows the reflection and containment of emotions, when words are not possible, in a safe, contained and confidential space. The group remains ‘closed’ for the agreed number of sessions. Please see GroOops GROUPS page for more information).
