Registered Charity No: 1124036 based in Finchley, Barnet, North London providing counselling and psycho-therapeutic support to children, young people and their families going through life transitions.
At
GroOops, we are primarily dedicated to helping Children, Young People and Their Families through Life Transitions such as:
Divorce
Family Break-up
Domestic Violence
Learning Difficulties
School, College and Work Issues
Aspects of Bereavement and Loss
Behaviour and Relationship ChallengesWe are in the process of developing several counselling and psycho-therapeutic group workshop projects incorporating the expressive arts and other disciplines. In addition we are also developing training modules to advance the personal and professional development of our members and to establish a network of professionals to share best practice.
Our outreach projects are facilitated by counsellors, psychotherapists and expressive arts professionals experienced in our
GroOops innovative, Multi-disciplinary, Psycho-educational Groupwork and counselling programmes. (Click here to see our

GroOops is run predominantly by volunteers and provides psycho-therapeutic workshops, counselling and training in schools, colleges, hospitals and other organisations in the Borough of Barnet and by arrangement - across Greater London and the UK Nationwide.
Our schools projects have been funded by the Milly Apthorp Trust.
Our youth projects have been funded by the Youth Opportunity Fund.
Our holiday projects have been funded by the Exchange Grant.
